By purchasing this pattern you are allowed to make and sell finished Backpack Buddy's. You are not allowed to sell templates in any shape or form or share templates in any shape or form or any part of this pattern with any one. This pattern is for your personal use, the finished product being The Backpack Buddy is yours to sell in a small shop not mass manufacturing. Any questions please send me an email.
The Backpack Buddy is just that, a buddy for your backpack. This is an organizer/insert that comes in two sizes and between the two sizes fit a wide variety of mini backpacks. It helps you stay organized and easily move between backpacks when you want to switch them out.
Finished Dimensions are approximately
Size A: 7.5"w X 9.5"h X 3.5"d
Size B: 9”w x 11”h x 2.5” d
Supply List:
Size A -
-(1) #5 - 6” zipper (if using size #3 adjust zipper box height)
-(1) zipper pull (if using zipper by the yard)
- 9” x 3” mesh fabric (optional can substitute fabric here see cut chart for adjustment needed)
-98” (2.72 yards) of double fold 0.5” wide bias tape (you can make your own you will need additional fabric for this though)
-1 yd of 44” wide fabric (less if not doing card slots or leaving some pockets off) cotton woven/quilting cotton recommended (prints can be mixed and matched but total needed is 1 yard)
-1 1/2 yards woven interfacing (yardage based off of 20” wide interfacing)
-17”x 8” Decovil Heavy or your preferred stabilizer
-Optional: bag label

Recommended tools for both-
-Marking pen/pencil that's removable
-Double sided tape (DST)
-Clips
-Optional: Bone Folder or other tool to help “score” fabric
What this pattern comes with:
A ZIP file that must be unzipped and inside is the following:
- detailed written instructions, with colored photos of the real item, not computer drawn
- 2 Sizes
- Video Tutorial (video is housed on YouTube so internet is required to watch it)
- Projector files for both sizes
- SVGs for both sizes (these have been tested on Cricut only as that is what I have access to)
-Print Shop/A0 files for both sizes
-Size B also has 2 different options for card slot pocket
